Eye Institute

People often use the search term "eye institute" when surfing the internet. Sometimes it's because they are searching for our website

What they may not know is that there is a very good reason that those words "eye institute" were selected to be a part of our name. You see, Koby Karp Doctors Eye Institute is more than an Ophthalmology practice alone. It is also a center for ophthalmology research.

Our doctors have participated in clinical research for more than 30 years. They have helped develop many of the glaucoma medications currently prescribed for the treatment of glaucoma. Our involvement in clinical trials enables our doctors to provide patients with the newest and most predictable forms of treatment even before FDA approval. We have, for instance, been able to reduce the number of drips required to control intraocular pressures from as many as four to only one, by testing combination therapies and longer lasting medications.

Being a part of the research and development of better, more efficient ways to improve your vision is a most rewarding facet of Koby Karp Doctors Eye Institute.
